Return policy

At Splash Hair, Nail & Beauty, your satisfaction matters to us. We are committed to excellent service and fair practices under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

Product Returns & Exchanges

(Within 7 Days)

You may return or exchange unopened and unused retail products within 7 calendar days of purchase if:

  • The item is in original packaging, unopened, and unused.
  • You provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

If these conditions are met, you may choose between:

  • An exchange for another product,
  • A store credit voucher, or
  • A refund, if required by law.

Non-Returnable Products

(Hygiene & Safety)

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Products without a tamper-evident seal or box, unless proven defective at the time of sale.
  • Opened or used products.
  • Personal-use items such as nail files, buffers, hair brushes, or skincare products that may be compromised.

This is to protect all clients and ensure product integrity.

Defective or Faulty Products

If you believe a product is defective, damaged, or unsafe, please notify us within 10 business days. After assessment, and if found to be a valid manufacturing issue, we will offer:

  • A replacement,
  • A repair, or
  • A store credit voucher to the value of the product, where applicable.

Refunds will not be granted where misuse or tampering is evident.

Services - No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of personal care services, we do not offer refunds on services rendered. However, your happiness is important to us. If you’re not satisfied:

  • We’ll go out of our way to correct, adjust, or redeem the service.
  • Please notify us within 3 days so we can take the appropriate steps.

We are committed to resolving concerns professionally and compassionately.

Sale or Promotional Items

Products or services purchased on promotion or at a discounted rate may not be refunded unless found to be defective. Exchanges for promotional products may be allowed at management’s discretion.

Refund Processing

(if applicable)

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.

Equipment Purchases & Cooling-Off Period

For equipment purchases (e.g. devices, tools, or machines), a 5-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase.

  • The equipment must be in its original, unopened packaging with no broken seals, and completely unused.
  • Returned equipment will be sent to the supplier for assessment, as they hold the product warranty.
  • The supplier’s decision is final regarding acceptance of the return.

If approved, the client may choose one of the following:

  • An exchange for a different item,
  • A store credit voucher to the value of the equipment, or
  • In limited cases, and at the sole discretion of management and the supplier, a full refund.

Please note: Supplier assessments and processing may take up to 14 working days.
